Experience the vibrant spirit of Holi, a popular Indian "Festival of Colors" and "Spring Festival". This traditional celebration signifies the welcoming of spring and the victory of good. Holi offers a wonderful opportunity to have a playful party where everyone - family, friends, even complete strangers - joins the fun enjoying the colorful festivities.

Join us in this festive community gathering in celebration of Holi.  Prepare for an afternoon of colorful fun, featuring music, dancing, and a delightful array of food. To fully embrace the spirit of the 'Festival of Colors,' we suggest wearing white attire that you won't mind getting colorfully decorated. This event will be held rain or shine, so come ready to celebrate the joy of spring with your neighbors.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, corn starch-based colors will be available for purchase at the event. Please do not bring outside colors.



Event Schedule

Holi: Festival of Colors

11:00 AM - 3:00 PM


The festivities begin with a brief procession around the Temple perimeter, followed by an afternoon of music, dancing, food, and the exciting Holi Color Run.


Holi Color Run

12:00 PM - 12:30 PM


The Holi Color Run is a 1K, untimed event.  Once the race is over, the fun continues at the Holi Festival,  with music, dancing, photo ops, activity booths, and more massive color throws, which create unique color combinations guaranteed to bring a smile to the face of the participant. 



Tickets

  • There is NO entry fee. This fun place is open to every one.

  • Ticket counter is in the color play area (in the large parking lot).

  • Tickets can be used to purchase food.

  • Color powder and water guns can be purchased in the booth next to the ticket booth.

Safety Information

  • Color powders are biodegradable and non toxic. They are made from corn starch. However, basic precautions must be taken during the event. 

  • Do not throw powder directly into anyone’s face.  Sprinkle or stroke them on with finger tips. 

  • Anyone with breathing issues should stay away from the thick of the dust, wear a dust mask, or avoid the event.  

  • Eye wear and dust protection is recommended. 

  • Children should be monitored at all times. 

  • If you are allergic to color, please avoid the event.

  • Use clear bags to bring your personal items.

  • No backpacks

  • Do not bring colors from outside

  • Please park on the streets where it is legally allowed.

Parking lot of the medical buildings (at the intersection of Kuykendahl and Flintridge. Entrance is on Flintridge.)

Park in the Event Parking lot and walk back to the Temple.
