Concept Approval from Woodlands DRC , Friday, October 12, 2007

Details:
We are thrilled to announce that The Woodlands Development Review Committee (DRC) has conditionally approved the temple site plan. They only disallowed a median cut off of Woodlands Parkway.

Kirksey, the chosen architecture firm for this project, along with S.R. Pinnapureddy, P.E., have produced a wonderful concept.

Shortly, we will proceed with commissioning engineering drawings and other supporting materials to facilitate the start of construction.

Land Purchase Completed , Friday, December 16, 2005

Details:
Dear friends,

I am happy to convey to you that we have now officially completed Phase 1 of our grand vision. S.R. and Kantha Reddy presided over the closing at the title company and the necessary documents were signed. The Hindu Temple of The Woodlands now owns the land on which we will build the temple complex. It is a joyous milestone; yet it is hardly the time to rest. We have much hard work ahead and I look forward to sharing those tasks with you soon.

For now, we should thank Lord Ganesh for blessing us with this property and the opportunity to serve God. As we like to remind each other, we are building not just a physical structure, but we are laying the foundation for generations to come.

To move forth, we have established an interim structure to our group. In the coming months, we shall have all the organizational requirements in place.

Meanwhile, congratulations to the entire group, both donors, and supporters alike. You are part of a very important contribution to life itself. Moreover, it has all been done on a voluntary basis. So, please continue to encourage family and friends to join in this vision.
